34岁读MBA机会还多少??

I am saying, it might depends if it worth for you to do an MBA. For example, Harvard, Stanford - definately worth. A school ranked outside top 20? You might need to have a LOOOONG thinking before you go.

But for all the irrespect for women, personally I dont think you have the chance.

Thanks for remind me of those women in my life.  I am sorry to bring your emotion here and glad to explain more about my idea of the ralationship between MBA and woman. I understand what lead to your strong reponse is that you are a woman. It is apparently a paralogism that any success is related to one woman afer another, but inversely, one woman after another must be related to a man's success. In my opinion, MBA is just a career education which will improves oneself and finfluences one's social postion, but it may not changes a man's attitude to woman. Confucius's proverb "饱暖思淫欲" completely describes this charactor of human being.

Hi, LZ, Did u get the answer? I have the same problem. more than 30 and now working for a foreign company. Current job looks didn't have future, So want to get a MBA to impove the career.

此观点有一定道理,但是出发点值得商榷。我认为 30 岁以后的人,应该重点考虑毕业之后的职业规划,而不是怎么被学校录取。

一个不争的事实,没有国外工作经验,流利的口语,35 岁以后在美国进入大公司的可能性非常低。我朋友里面这样背景的,大部分回去做原行业。少数有办法搞定身份的,留在美国自己创业,在华人圈子里做一些贸易。所以如果不上 TOP 20,回报率不是很高的。

LZ 如果决定念国外 MBA,最好先考个 GMAT。如果上了 700,其他综合条件有希望上 TOP 20(参考成功申请人背景 http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=13&ID=142674&page=1),就试一把。不行念个国内 MBA,一样可以拓宽 network。
