Ironically,MESBIC staffs, which usually consist of Hispanic and Blackprofessionals, tend to approach investments in minority firms morepragmatically than do many MESBIC directors, who are usually seniormanagers from sponsoring corporations. The latter often still thinkmainly in terms of the “social responsibility approach” and thus seemto prefer deals that are riskier and less attractive than normalinvestment criteria would warrant.
这道题其实就是了解Hispanic and Blackprofessionals和many MESBIC directors的不同态度
两者的态度是相反的，所以既然说many MESBIC directors关注的是social responsibility approach，那么Hispanic and Blackprofessionals必然是更加关注他们资助的企业是否有足够的盈利性和成长性，因此他们不愿意投资那些只有marginal expectations of retur的企业
