Madison is a beatiful middle-size city in MIdwest US. Because the winter is very cold here, people cherish the sunshine in summer much more than those around east coast. Madison enjoys good reputation in North America,especially for its graduate education. If you want top-brand college, Madison is not a good choice,but if you have a clear career goal and need a touchable future, Madison wont let you down. My major is supply chain management, and there are total 11 students in our class this year. Advised by my department, every student will have personal academic advisor who can also set customized career development plan according to your background. This is very attractive because our final goal is finding a decent job but not only getting a glorious degree. The living expenses is also not very high here so it is good for Chinese student if you don't have sufficient funding. I got an efficiency of 500 ft at $550/mo, it is a very good deal compared that in Boston, NY and Chicago. I think $800 will be fine if you can plan your money well. I will meet my advisor tomorrow morning and hope I can tell you more about Madison days later. |
