这道阅读题我也错了，当时想法和你一样，中了ETS的诡计。其实你跳开一步想，别被他的bidding, acquiring搞蒙了，就想想两个公司合并之前的股票变化就知道了。

我觉得C的哪个which是指代前面的句子,是没有包含这个事件导致的which后面的

还是有疑义.

acquistion指并购，企业并购的概念指一家公司收购另外一家公司，具体表现在成为这家被收购公司的控股公司，他们在股票市场上不会有变化，不是两只股票合成一只股票。通常被收购的公司，股票会降低，而收购的公司股票会升高。

这就是 bidding firms value increase more than acquired firms。

另外，C并不无关。一，原文40行已经提到manager的问题，只有bidding firms 的manager会干这样的事情
