Thanks. Cost consideration may contribute to the final decision making.

For General Ranking the difference between the two is not great enough. Purdue ranked with TOP3 for the operation management and TOP10 for the Supply Chain Logistic Management.  I did not find UT Austin in the Specialty Rankings. Can anybody make some comment here and give some insight?

As a foreign student (assume you are f-1 holder), even I like UT very much (I would love to have my kids going there one day), I would suggest you choose purdue for the sake of financial reward.

you will face challenges when you graduate from these two schools if you don't have green card, UT may have better Technology companies around, but Purdue has Chicago.
