I would suggest people to have at least 3 years of WE.  Mine is always a concern of being too short by the interviewers.

Congratulations!  Anyway, It is too hard to get into a specific top school.  So cheer up and get ready for school!

完全同意楼主关于工作年限的说法。我也只有不到3年的工作经验，而且只在一个公司同一个职位。相比较其他的申请人就显得单薄了许多。 读了一大堆学位但对申请商学院去可能只有负面影响。  虽然还拿到了不错的offer, 但可能工作经验再丰富一些就更有把握了。

也建议年轻的申请人把握好时机，争取展现最强的一面，拿到自己最中意学校的offer。

I'm wondering how you explain the decision to drop out PhD program in your application. Do you think it's more of an advantage or disadvantage? I mean on one hand, you got into a competitive PhD program (I assume it's econ, given your background in litigation consulting), but on the other hand, would people take it as a sign of incompetence or a lack of determination? Many thanks!!!

thanks all. I appreciated all your congrats.

My b-school application is rather non-traditional. There were so many ups and downs. Even though the result is great by all standard, it is just missing the original goal (some personal reasons).  It is kind of like I worked hard towards a specific target but ended up with a completely different one. Pleasure? Disappointment? Maybe a little bit of both.  I think life sometimes plays practical joke on people. But anyway, I should appreciate what I have and move forward with a great attitude, for me, and for my lady.
