专业问题，希望在美学习的各位牛人给点儿意见

本人实在没法跟CD里的牛人比，背景不强，申请的学校也很一般。但在决定上什么学校和什么专业时却怎么也不敢轻易决定。希望已经在美国学习的各位师哥师姐给帮忙参谋一下。

本人本科是英语语言文学，申请美国的ms accounting. 其中纽约的pace U录取了。但是对方说我本科不是工商管理类专业，故不能申请ms accounting，结果被调到了mba in accounting。学校说如果我读ms（最多修56个学分）那么最后修的课程还是不能满足cpa考试的要求。而mba（最多74个学分）则可以保证这一点。可我本科今年7月才毕业，根本没有什么工作经验，如果读了mba，将来找工作会不会很惨的？其他录取的学校虽然是ms但自己感觉学会计还是在纽约好一点。想听听知情的人的宝贵建议。谢谢！

Check with the school to see if you can take additional courses to meet the requirements while enrolling in the MS program. e.g. taking courses in the summer or delaying graduation for a semester etc.

The above link is the place to check whether you meet the NY State requirements for taking the CPA exam.  Keep in mind that (1) you don't have to take the exam in NY to work in NY; some other states have easier requirements to meet. You can find details from www.nasba.org (2) it's possible for Pace to file out some paperwork with the state and get the program automatically qualified for taking the exam in NY and one-year experience reduction.  i.e. By the time you graduate from the MS program, it is possible, although not necessarily likely, that you can take the exam in NY.
