要知道,这个东西对大家的影响里是非凡的. 如果咱们班拿出个漂亮的数据, 也就不必考虑中欧了....steve 好象对中欧的崛起忧心的很 呵呵.

关注此帖中。不知道科大今年毕业同学的就业情况如何，现在应该开始有些数据出来了吧。

上面写的是class，中欧每个班是60人吧，所以我就那样计算的，中欧的学生来解释下吧，到底是整个年级的base还只是一个班?? 谢谢了！

发表一点想法，不一定成熟，供大家参考。

我们经常会问中国MBA有多少去投行或咨询公司的，看了这个贴子后，我在想，中国的现实情况和美国不太一样，用进投行或咨询业的人说来说明可能会误导申请者。其实中国近期缺的更多可能是在企业里的高级职业经理而不是投行和咨询人员。从长江几个薪水比较高的来看，很多并不在咨询或投行，而薪水和职位可能更高。

投行和咨询业的发展和一个国家的经济密切相关，美国制造业已经比较成熟了，需要进一步发展，因此需要做产业整合，并购重组等就比较发达。因此HARVARD, WHARTON每年招800人，很多还是可以去这两个行业，中国一年能进比较好咨询公司的一共也没多少，需求有限。中国产业整合刚刚起步，需求不是很大。当然今后三五年发展会比较迅速，而且中国的MBA教育也成熟起来。

个人认为，短期内咨询与非咨询在薪水和发展上可能差别不是那么大，而且咨询业也会招资深的行业专家，在企业做好了，也是咨询业寻找的对象。申请者应该根据自己的情况选择学校和职业，不必拿别人或其他国家的情况来比较。

1.       there were totally 120 people in the MBA04 of CEIBS. Around 15 people are working with consulting firms currently, not a small number.

2.       among these guys, two worked in consulting firms before they came to CEIBS. For other people, one from GM, one from Lucent, one from Huawei, one China Post, one from Ministry of Commerce, and one from a Israel Telecom…..

3.       overall, these people are smart, young, and good in communication skills. Background is not necessary, actually, consulting is the easiest way for changing function.

4.       for salary, 20-30k was probably under-estimated.

BTW, we cannot say consulting is the best career for everybody.

Thanks for your information, very informative. What level of job are those smart young guys working on? Associate, consultant or analysist? you know, the salary ranges a lot for different levels.

If you want to climb to partner or principle level in consulting firms, an MBA is a MUST unless you are a smart PhD.
