Which one do you prefer, 刚果商学院，柬埔寨管理学院，和Yale管理学院？

这个一定要顶一下！！！

如果跳出MBA这个圈子，不论在中国还是在美国，Yale都是公认的最好的学校。可能Yale SOM还比较年轻，但是在SOM可以拥有整个Yale Univ的共享资源，很多都可能是一生的财富。但就商学院而言，也许Yale和Emory差不多，但是如果从这两年的学校生活，以及毕业后长远的影响来说，Yale Univ里面那么多有价值的东西，社会资源，名声等等，Emory根本比不上！而且在中国，Yale不但有着“相～当～高～”的声誉，而且还有着非常好的本地联系，政府/企业等等。而Emory最多也就是能给个全奖还比较有实际价值。

就我个人而言，选最好的商学院还是选最好的大学，这才是值得探讨的问题。我到很有兴趣做这个比较——

呵呵，有个叫钱永强的，自称被kellogg和yale录，最后选了yale，因为他自称“西北大学会被误认为毕业于西安某校”。

如果是我，会选wharton。

第一，俺申请了wharton，也在等消息。研究他很久，觉得好过som太多。至于大学，yale应该好过penn，但这不是决定选择商学院的最重要的因素。we are professional business men and women applying for professional schools.如果说yale的大学声望比penn好一些，那么wharton一年毕业的mba是som的好几倍，wharton的校友应该比som多很多。

第二，做金融的，选wharton不选kellogg。

第三，vickiyan提到som还比较年轻，有前途。但是som成立于1976年，固然比起wharton是年轻很多，但30年已经足够一个学校发展的了。按照bw在1988至2004年的排名，yale一直在20名左右。usnews的排名也类似。应该说，som长期处在这样一个水平，并没有被低估。

这个帖子真是热闹，我似乎还是潜水比较好。我想大家选商学院，无非考虑两点：1）毕业之后是否可以找一份满意的工作，我是指在你本身有实力的情况下，你的工作是否可以和其他美国TOP商学院的大陆学生可以找到的好工作相媲美？2）满足一下虚荣心，即你所就读的是否是名牌商学院或者名牌大学，或者同时是名牌商学院又隶属名牌大学，这样你和别人说起来，脸上有光，自己底气也很足。

很多人选择的时候还会有很多别的考虑，比如有的喜欢纽约（工作好找），有的喜欢small program（这样学生容易熟悉，教授的资源也不会被分散），有的喜欢录取中国学生少的（这样显示自己很牛，或者喜欢多和老美接近）；相反，也有的喜欢large program（校友多，可以帮忙的也多），喜欢录取中国学生多的（人多力量大，在国内校友也多）；甚至还有非哈佛商学院不去的。本人说话一直非常客观，基本不会刻意抬高或者贬低某个学校，我只是提供一些大家通常的想法，真是五花八门。大家自己选择自己喜欢什么样的学校吧。呵呵。

这FINANCE可是KELLOGG的秘密武器啊！只可惜它的强势被甚嚣尘上的MARKETING所淹没。

yale虽好，但是没有好到可以压过wharton和kellogg的好。

I had the Yale interview on March 2nd, while I'm not sure whether Yale is better than Emory.

Is Yale better?

One, Yale has a better reputation than Emory because it belongs to Yale University.

Two, I'm interested with the China Initiative and Professor Zhiwu Chen, also encouraged by two scholarships for students from China mainland.

Three, New Haven is adjacent to Boston and New York, where my favorite companies located.

Four, I have compared the recruiting companies of these two schools and found that Yale has attractd some top finance related companies.

Still, there are a lot of concerns of Yale.

One, the yield rate is quite low, almost 40%, in last two years. It seems people lose confidence of Yale.

Two, the job profiles of Yale are very different on US news and BW. On US news, Yale belongs to the worst on job market, less than 70% students get jobs after graduation. On BW, Yale is much more better than most 15-25 schools, more than 90% students get jobs after graduation and all the top 15 recruiting companies have well-known names.

Three, only two scholarship for chinese in Yale while most admitted chinese can get decent scholarships from Emory.

Four, from the application process, I believe that Yale is not professional. Comparing to Wharton and Chicago,Yale's website is complicated and strange and the timing of every step in application is not clear. On the discussion board of Yale, the admission officers used to respond as "we are lost in the files and please keep waitng".
