申请学校询问

求助各位NN, 给予一些申请学校的指导建议, 以节约时间和金钱.

本人背景, 年龄31, 工作10年, 国内一流学校本科毕业, 工作的10年中, 4年在海外工作, 在海外也担任过管理职务.IT 行业. 目前就职于国内知名IT企业, 担任管理职位3年, 职务是销售经理. GMAT成绩700分, 刚考完, 准备TOEFL中.

我本人的看法是, 希望申请TOP 10的美国学校的学校, 因为年龄大了, 所以如果去读一般的学校毕业后没什么意义, 而且浪费1-2年的时间和金钱, 所以请教各位NN, 我这样的背景能申请好学校吗? 专业方面有没有什么建议?

另外, 我这种背景有没有可能申请奖学金?

hua wei? i think you are qualified for top 10, while duke, michigan, tuck, darden seem more suitable for you? hard to say on scholarship. it is difficult for everyone. statistics are one thing, but some stories behind them are equally, if not more so, imporant too.

Hi - you can apply for any school, I mean - including H/S/W. But keep in mind scholarship in top 10 is always very very limited. You can also apply for some school who is rich, like Emory.

thanks a lot for your advise.....if i decide to apply 2007 autumn admission, shall i start prepare now? what can i do now? by the way, i have worked in English speaking countries for 3 years, will TOEFL score waived?

just search on emory website, seems no scholarship to international students, maybe duke or tuck is better for me? need ur help. thanks

seatch emory in this site, you will find many CDer get Emory schorlarship. They give money to people who are qualified to DUKE/Missagin etc to lure these guys.

现在申请肯定来不及了吧. 是不是只有等到今年10月份那一轮了. 没有经验, 请各位指教.

另外, 我在国外(英语国家)工作3年, 应该可以免TOEFL的吧?

好象是否可以免TOEFL要看身份而不是工作经验啊？
