More backgroud for my last question: I've almost gotten my PhD in science in US and i am thinking about to go to law school. Maybe work as IP lawyer for a few years in US but I still plan to go back to china for a long term. I like to teach. Of course it is not about money. Thanks!
I think China will need a lot of people like you to teach law in China. But be aware that US law system is different from China. A German trained law professional will be a better teacher in many cases.
Thanks, funny tiger! I don't mean to teach any law classes but specific on IP-related law. Do you know how much different the IP laws are between US and Europe? Do you know some information about law schools in Germany?
IP law is kind of new. US is the leader in this area. So the difference between US and China could be relatively smaller in IP law. But unless you are a devoted educator, I don't see you have a chance to teach. IP law is so hot, you will have to choose between good money and teaching. (assume you are graduating from a good school in US)

我不同意中美IP law “the difference between US and China could be relatively smaller”的说法。美国的知识产权制度--这里说的不是法律制度本身--和世界的大多数国家都很不一样。中国模仿的是欧洲制度。
