When I read the Darden students post last year(you can find it in CD), they mentioned that Darden doesn't care too much on GMAT and GPA but cares more on career/leadership/communication- my GPA is my biggest weakness but I have good W/E and I believe I spent pretty much time writing essay. I guess another reason is because I have really strong rec - my boss is a Darden Alumni.

Mine was in two days, but you can always negotiate with the adminssion advisor, they are very nice and should give you the flexibility.

Congratulations to your offer. When you make your decision later whether to come to Darden, I strongly recommend you talk to current students first, espectially current Chinese students. Darden will be a great stepping stone for certain careers, but not all careers. Talk to current students and don't let the money factor dictate your decision making process. Just my pure guess, are your working for EDS now?
