答案是c。请问是怎么得到的1765这个数字。我选A

      选项取非！如果选项取非后与原文不符合，那便是答案！
     
     你把C取非一下，就是说当Schnitzler asserting that he has been peddling off
   and on for 20 years.是在1965之后，那么也就是他最早从事这个行业是在1945之后，明显与题目中1939不符！
     所以，该选项就是答案！

我的问题是：这类题在阅读中多见吗？有什么技巧？谢谢

八戒的看法是正确的，当你无法选择时可以试着将选项取非，与原文冲突的就是答案。

但你做多了以后，对这种题形成感觉了，也就不必取非了。

事实上1765是随便取的，只要这个数字大于1759就行（1739+20）。夸张一点取1799也行

这类题在补充材料上还有好几题。
