看到我上面的帖子可能有人会嫌自己收到面试邀请慢了. 不过我现在在美国. 也许这会带来一些差别. 所以大家没必要为这个担忧.

第一轮ADCOM 中国大陆面试的时候（上海、北京）一共就见了4个，至少录取了2个，由此推断面试录取率真的很高（actually confirmed by adcom officer)。

All standard questions as mentioned by Mr. Yale, a walk-through of your resumee.  No worry.

你说的应该是Yale SOM利用world MBA tour在上海和北京做的面试。据我所知，后来还陆续有学生做alumni interview，但我不知道结果如何。

不过我真正的问题是我现在人在美国西海岸洛杉矶, 邀请是要我约去学校NEW HAVEN 的面试. 而且有下面的语句:

If you are unable to interview in New Haven, please let us know by replying to this email message.  If the Admissions Committee determines that an off-site interview is possible, we will let you know.

一般学校都提供校友面试或电话面试作为校园面试的选择.可看这邀请的意思如果我不去校园的话也许面试就没了真的很郁闷. 美西到美东飞一个来回加一天面试就是里外里3天啊. 不过我又实在不想对我的YALE申请造成任何负面影响.

有经验的XDJM帮我分析一下.

I arrived at New Haven on a Sunday night, interviewed Monday morning and came back home the same day.  You really only have to take one day off if you choose in interview on Monday.

A question to testtech, which day in a week do you think would be the best to hold the interview on campus?  Did you choose Monday just because it is easy to arrange the itinerary?   I am booking my flight now and need your advise.   Thanks!

I'm not really sure the day of your interview affects the outcome.  I believe a lot of interviewees choose Monday or Friday due to the time concern.  Also the airfare is cheaper when you fly over weekend.  Just curious, would you mind to tell me how much you need to pay for the flight ticket?  I had to land in NYC and drove up to New Haven so that I can avoid being ripped off by the airline company.

I just did a search and found that if I fly 1-stop to new haven it takes $199 (before tax) on Tuesday, and same price on Wednesday.   retty good deal!   

There is no Mondays avaliable on the online scheduler, so I probably will book Tuesday morning.  Anyone else planning on the same date?

for those of u going to New Haven. There is a train from Grand Central NYC to New Haven CT directly. The train fair is around 30$ round trip.
