求助大家帮我看看收到YALE 面试邀请

刚刚递交YALE 申请刚不到一周就收到了面试申请.

我本来认为收到面试申请说明我向前走了一步.可这也太快了应该是还没好好看呢吧, 有经验的XDJM帮我分析一下.

不过我真正的问题是我现在人在美国西海岸洛杉矶, 邀请是要我约去学校NEW HAVEN 的面试. 而且有下面的语句:

If you are unable to interview in New Haven, please let us know by replying to this email message.  If the Admissions Committee determines that an off-site interview is possible, we will let you know.

一般学校都提供校友面试或电话面试作为校园面试的选择.可看这邀请的意思如果我不去校园的话也许面试就没了真的很郁闷. 美西到美东飞一个来回加一天面试就是里外里3天啊. 不过我又实在不想对我的YALE申请造成任何负面影响.

有经验的XDJM帮我分析一下.

Yale will take a quick look at your application, and then decides whether to invite you for an interview. The invitation rate is around 40-50%. You are very promising since Yale has interest in your application. Get well prepared for the interview, which is composed of standard questions: Go through your past experience? How did you choose your undergraduate college? Why MBA?Why Yale? How to add to Yale SOM's diverstiy? As far as I know, interview plays an important part in the final decision. Try to be mature and confident, and speak as fluently as possible. Good luck!

do not agree, if it's not possible for LZ to conduct a campus interview (for time & money), adcom will not treat it as lack of commitment anyway. BTW the statement from adcom is quite neutral, so don't worry about that, sometimes Chinese take too much guess

I got the same invitation from Yale and I am in Texas.  It is really hard for me to arrange the on campus interview.  I don't know what to do.
