i graduated from Chicago. it's boring as hell. Stanford, wharton and harvard are so much better.

Trust me, it's soooooooo true.


every U chicago alumni admits it's the nerdiest school on the planet.

that's why I myself did not even bother to apply there. when you graduate from Chicago, you will find out what I said means.

Stanford, Harvard and Wharton are so much better than chicago. so much better for sure. anyways, congrats on being U of C alumus.

I had alumni interview in Beijing. The questions are all focused on my resume. He asked a lot about almost each detailed line in my resume. But the one question he asked the most is why Chicago, what can convince him that if I am admitted, I will go. He even cornered me to list the strengths of Chicago over Wharton. (Turned out his concern is correct ;)


My suggestion is really to know the school well. Know which professor you like, which classes you think are specifically linked to your career goal. Also logic is very important. They will buy your story if they think it is reasonable.
