我在C和E中犹豫，OG中讲到
. E is awkwardly phrased and produces a sentence fragment, because the appositive noun phrase Architects and stonemasons cannot serve as the subject of were the Maya.
我不太理解，另外C比E还有那里好呢?

C中,Architects and stonemasons是the Maya 的主语同位语,而E的意思是Architects and stonemasons就是the Maya ,句子意思不合理,所以选C

同位语进一步说明主语，并以逗号把主语和谓语分开。主语同位语说明主语某一方面的内容.
在C中,Architects and stonemasons说明了MAYA人的一个特性,而E是说Architects and stonemasons就是MAYA,也可以理解为除了MAYA别的人就不是Architects and stonemasons了,所以不合理,不知道我说清楚了没有

举个例子OG122题
其中each character a miniature calligraphic composition inside its own spuare frame
我看这就是独立主格，可是下面的解释是appositive terms

有谁可以对这两个概念再说几句吗？多谢了！
