Darden vs. Rotman?

I just got admission offers from the Darden School of UVA and the Rotman School of UToronto. I know Darden is a top 15 B-school in the U.S., but how about its reputation in China, or in Asia at large? Rotman is kind of No.1 school in Canada, but compared with Darden, is Rotman more well-known in Asia?

Thanks! I have come to the U.S. since 2000, I know for sure that M7 and other top 10 schools are famous in China, but not sure about Darden. Darden program is a small one, with about 8 to 12 students from China in the past years. Rotman definitely have more students from China considering many immigrants from China in recent years and many alumni in Hongkong. The job placement rate is more or less the same (85% in Darden and 89% in Rotman for 3months after graduation) Why all you guys vote for Darden? I am curious...

why? just judge by the rankings? My impression is that Darden is very strong in general management, while Rotman is very strong in Finance. The case method in Darden is very cool, but the integrative apporach in Rotman is very great as well. any details of your thoughts?

Darden并不只是排名高过Rotman，关键在于Darden 良好的Alumni Network。所有从Darden出来的学生都会非常怀念这两年的时光，太多有特色的事情，这些共同的难忘回忆构成了Darden Alumni之间的桥梁。Alumni Network是MBA经历中的重要部分。

另外，Darden的确是General Management方面很强，不过如果单从就业数据上看可能Finance方面的就业人数是最多的。所有一流Investment Banking都会到学校做介绍会，而由于Program人数少所以相对容易。

楼主如果还存在不确定的话，可以到Business week等老美的申请论坛上逛逛，看看美国本国人对于Darden 品牌的看法。

BTW:   Darden 校长下月要到中国访问，而且将接受新华社采访。
