Not yet, but will land in Canada next summer, that is part of reason why I applied to Rotman as a back-up. tell the truth, I just cannot wait in the endless green card process in the U.S. to sacrifise my MBA dream, so I decided to quit my engineer job in the U.S. and go for an MBA. although my long-term goal is return to China, the immigration policy in Canada (you can become a Canada citizen with only 3 years of residence after landing ) makes me hesitate to choose Darden.

In my personal view, Rotman is not less desirable than Darden even
without the citizenship consideration.  One is probably the number
1 school in Canada, and the other is a second tier school in US.

I don't want to correct your personal view. But please don't confuse other applicants.

Second tier is not a right title for a top 15 school.

Actually, Darden maybe the most underestimated school in top 15. If you know how many companies consider Darden as their core school, you will understand it.

In case you decide to go back China postMBA, does a Canadian citizenship really help that much?

Are you in Darden or a Darden alumnai? looks to me, you are a big fan of Darden.....but your name indicates you may in Fuqua? Anyway, the most important thing for me is which school is more well-known in Asia? I donot really care about the ranking or the tier.

I'm a Darden 2007 student.  My name is a long story. Sorry for confusion.

If you want to be Canadian Citizen, Roman is absolutedly your choice, and only choice.

Highly recommend you to come for Campus visit. The best way to know a school is to visit it and sit in its classroom. It's valueable to spend some money on research before you make the huge investment.
