pp test2:
20. -----M: So you’re taking sociology as your independent-study course.  I guess that gives you more time for your other classes.
     ------W: Well, you would think so.

    ------What does the woman imply?

   A:She is taking only one class this semester.
   B:Her sociology course is very time-consuming.
   C:She agrees with the man.
   D:The man should take an independent-study course.                                       

I am really not sure that which answer is correct. Could someone give me any directions? Thanks!

Then I think the answer of pp is wrong.

B is definitely correct. Don't forget to pay attention to the speaker's tone! She is speaking the opposite (fan hua).
