这句话是什么意思，到底是缺了第一节课不影响大局还是第一节课十分重要不能缺

2.M: I just want to wish work in Dr. Cole's literature class.
   W:Really?I was beginning to think that I was the only one.
   A.She thinks the course is easy
   B.She has a lot of work to do.
   C.She is thinking about taking literature.
   D.She is taking only one class.
我认为应该选C,答案认为选B,这个段子到底是什么意思？
