As a matter of fact, I've heard many Chinese MBAs who graduated from a top 25 school or up in the end of 90's are leading a comfortable middle class life - family annual income around $200K, a house, two cars, most started building a family. It takes an average 7-10 years time to reach that stage. Some people might not call this a dream come true, and it really depends on your personal expectation on life.
