蓝宝石有一个独一无二的phosphorescence，暴露在光下蓝宝石呈现出一些颜色，举例希望之心；在AHC的时候，科学家研究了HOPE和其他石头，研究发现每一个钻石都有密度光，分析不同波长；所有自然2B钻石的PHO都有GREEN550和RED660 ，但是合成的就没有660。这个方法非常可靠，这个方法研究碎的宝石也行
