D错在 The first is the background that is necessary for this argument，这说明结论成立则这句话成立，但结论成立时也不表明chase has not financed any Hollywood movies等同于have any connections to the entertainment industry。所以 The first is the background that is necessary for this argument是错的。

我说一下对a的理解，此题第一句说得是满足最后一句，即结论的必要条件，但不充分，所以有即便满足了包括的这些条件也不能得到最后的结论
