大意是介绍了三种管道探测技术

首先是在天然气行业最常用的方法是magnetic flux leakage （当管道发生变化时，例如墙壁变薄、碎了等等，磁通量通过这些地方露出来，然后一个探测器探测到这个泄露。而泄露的位置和数量就表明了这个瑕疵的位置和大小。）

2（ORNL和blabla的工程师）VK希望整合新的硬件和软件（通过EMAT）来改进探测方法。而EMAT这个设备是被大学设计出来，与管道没有接触。超声波探测。

另一个人通过microcantilever来检测很小的泄露。cantilever跟microscopic diving board(在特殊幅度震动)类似。没有漏气——震动幅度与空气一致。漏气了——频率改变。然后这种microcanitilever sensor可以跟上一个技术结合，同时探测泄露和缺陷。。

[Main Idea]
Present current method of monitoring flaw and gas leak, and then introduce new technologies.

[Structure]
P1: Current method for flaw and leak: magnetic field on the walls of the pipe + a sensor detects the leakage.

P2: EMAT technology for flaw: ultrasonic waves + an algorithm recognizes different patterns of the waves.

P3: MC technology for (tiny) leak: MC sensor detects the changes of the vibration frequency.  MC+EMAT
