   -2：分别给活猎物&熟蛋，三天后都给活的。之前给活的能subdue（制服）猎物，之前给蛋的没有

P1: AT & KM observed 2000 occasions of meerkats prey for pups in wild
      ---- 65% prey to youngest pups are live
      ---- 90% prey to oldest pups are live
      
      raised hypothesis: Meerkats adults teach the pups to kill prey

P2: test hypothesis by 2 experiments:
       1. Premise: adult catch prey to pups it hears but not see
            Conclusion: the younger the sound of call, the greater % prey presented was killed
         越小吃的就越是死的，大了就要慢慢给活物让pup自己kill

         2. 2 group:
             A : feed with live scorpions remove stingers----3 days----100%  subdued 制服 live scorpions
             B : feed with eggs ----3 days---2/3 不能制服 live scorpions

Alex T和Katherine McA发现：很多meerkats会帮他们的幼崽猎食。65%的猎物在给到幼崽的时候还是活着的，90%的猎物在给成年meerkats的时候也是活着的。
>>> hypo：成年meerkats alter behaviour为了教授幼崽kill prey

有两个实验可以验证hypo：
修改了begging calls for adults：响应的程度不同，越年轻的幼崽拿到的killed prey几率越高
一部分给去掉了毒刺的活蝎子，一部分给煮熟的蛋；三天后全部给活蝎子，那些曾经给过活蝎子的幼崽能够制服，但是2/3给煮熟蛋的幼崽不会。
