Copper deposits originated from volcanic activity.
P1: Evidence suggests that copper deposits formed as lay products of volcanic activity where maga bodies had suitable compositions and properties and where crustal characteristics fit. Evidence is indirect, not perfect.
However, there are facts that supports that argument:
1.        Copper deposits are found in volcanic active areas, where earthquake and volcanic activities are still common
2.        Coincidence of copper and volcanic rocks in both time and space -There are deposits where remnants of volcanic rocks about the same age are found and where copper deposits are present in volcanic rocks (as intrusions) –
3.        Formation process indicates that copper originated from volcano.
4.        Appearance similarity – both contains breech (angular fragments of rock.
5.        Copper deposits and volcanoes show similar tendencies to cluster for form along lines.  
Conclusion: link between volcanism and the formation of copper deposit is important
1.        It establishes a rational basis for searching for such deposits
2.        High success rate attests to its validity

沉积物是不是火山导致的？先是说不是，因为会被风吹走，证据不明显。被反驳，一下五个理由：1.火山带环绕，有地理条件 2.火山岩石时间可以追溯到200万年前（未受风化影响呢）这些石头证明沉积物来源于火山活动 3. 两个冷却阶段，P和火山岩石的结构一样，有理论支撑 4.结构相同P与火山岩石 5.分布相同
这个火山与P沉积物之间的关系很重要，因为这是寻找沉积物的重要依据，过去探测结果的高准确率也揭示了这一理论是正确的
