expanding的主语是universe，cd错误；然后universe到现在还在扩张，应用现在完成进行时，与ever since搭配！！排除b，be的过去完成时也不对，此处只是表述一个过去发生的事件，没有体现过去的过去。

2.C（错，正确选项A）
So...that，太…而不能
So...that和so…as to的区别：so…that可以用作多个主语，so前的主语和that后的主语可以不一样；so…as to一般用于单一主语，不能相隔太远，一般为so adj. as to verb
而de的enough：…enough that/so as to/so to/so that都不对
C与a的另一个区别：unable：偏向事物本身无法，所以they are unable to distinguished不合理，不是他们本身无法被察觉到（经济变化是可以被察觉的），只不过是人主观无法被察觉的，事物本身没有阻止被察觉。
所以C不对，主要原因就是unable to be distinguished不如indistinguishable简洁和好。
