Main point: Introduction of B and her political efforts on equal opportunity for black American men and women
Paragraph 1:
B was a typical yet one of the most important African American women in American political history. She was a pivotal member of the race leaders as she advanced equal opportunity for black Americans and fought on all levels. She was more effective in developing women's leadership in terms of racial justice than other black women leaders
Paragraph 2:
However, B hasn't be recognized as a black political leader due to traditional definition of political activity and gender-biased idea of a leader. Feminist historians redefined political activity, which included community work. Using the new definition, black women who worked through voluntary associations become leaders. So B deserves recognition as a political leader |
