[面试经验] Haas & Kellogg面经分享

2021 Entry R2 / Alumnus / Google Meets
我的面试问题主要是针对学校的,有一些行为方面的问题。整个过程很融洽,持续了一个小时,35分钟问题,25分钟校友问答。
Questions:
- Why an MBA? Why Haas?
- Elaborate on ST & LT goals.
- What is a time you've helped fosterdiversity in either a professional or non-professional capacity?
- What is a time you've seen diversitywithin your team at work as you worked toward a consensus? How were you humbledby it?
- Give me an example of a time where yourteam had disagreements, then worked toward a consensus, and your role in thiscapacity.
- Haas prides itself on its four pillarsand how it believes in the importance of these concepts as you develop yourleadership ability. Name the pillar that resonates the most with you andexplain why.
- Is there anything else you want me to putdown that you'd like the admissions committee to know?
- Are there any fun facts you'd like theuniversity to know about you?

2021 Entry R2 / Alumnus / Zoom
This blind interview lasted about an hourand was with an alumna. She had a list of questions to get through and pickfrom. The conversation was very personable; it was easy to establish rapport. Ithink Haas is very intentional about creating this sort of environment to getthe best out of interviewees. The interview had a lot of behavioral questions.Below is a list that I remember.
Questions:
- Why Haas? What do you want out ofbusiness school experience?
- DEI experience
- Clubs you're interested in?
- What’s the biggest risk you’ve takenprofessionally?
- Led a team with different perspectivesand got consensus?
- Another risk question, I forget wording,but answered with a personal story.
- Book recommendation
- Anything else not covered?
Time at the end to ask a couple questions,then we adjourned. Make sure to weave in defining principles throughout.

2022 Entry R1 / Adcom / Zoom
面试基本跟大家反馈的一样,没有什么意料之外或令人感到意外的地方。面试官非常友好,也很健谈。

- Stepping up to a leadership role?

Blind interview, resume based.
Questions:
- Share about your educational background.
- Walk through your resume and explaindifferent parts.
- Explain your role and responsibilities atthe job.
- How would you describe your leadershipstyle (with example)?
- How do you work with people fromdifferent backgrounds (with example)?
- How would people you work with defineyou?
- What does ‘being resilient’ mean to you(with example)?
2021 Entry R1 / Alumnus / Video
面试气氛轻松而友好。问答35分钟,提问10分钟。
Questions:
- Tell me about yourself.
- What's your short-term & long-termgoal?
- Why MBA and Why Kellogg?
- How would you describe your leadershipstyle and what does leadership mean to you?
- Tell me a time when you had to manage adifferent (difficult) person.
- Tell me a time when you failed atsomething, how you demonstrated your resilience.
- Why now (specifically to my currentcareer progress as a PM)?
- What are some challenges you would facein your MBA?
- What's your plan B if you can't get therole you want after graduation?
- What can you contribute to the Kelloggcommunity?
- What extra-curriculum activities you'dlike to join at Kellogg?
- Anything else we haven't covered yet thatyou want to discuss?
- Any questions for me?

Questions:
- Tell me about yourself.
- Where on your resume have you made the mostimpact?
- What's your most interesting workexperience?
- Tell me about a time you worked in adiverse team.
- What are the 3 attributes a good teamneeds?
- What are your 2-5 year professionalgoals?
- Why is an MBA necessary to take youthere?
- Why Kellogg?
- Tell me about a time you showedresilience.
- Tell me about a time you worked with ahard person.
