众所周知，Wharton 采取小组讨论（TBD）的方式进行面试，这种方式是为了模拟Wharton 商学院高度合作的环境，以确定你的沟通风格、参与程度、领导技能、决策过程等是否契合学校的要求。在这个过程中，你将能展示你是如何对待和思考某些挑战及机会，也能亲身体验到团队合作和动态学习。这也是Wharton项目的核心。

TBD的小组由4-5名申请人组成，是随机分配的。全程35钟讨论，全组作为一个团队，共同努力实现一个具体的目标。在TBD之后是一个每人10分钟的与招生团队成员一对一的面试。因此，面试分为两个部分，第一部分的案例每年更新。

2022 Entry TBD Case

A few weeks ago Wharton announced theofficial launch of Wharton Interactive, a venture dedicated to transformingteaching through interactive games and simulations. Wharton Interactive has aunique team of interactive fiction writers, pedagogy experts, game designers,and programmers. This venture is the first major effort by any university tocreate a scalable and fully automated platform built on simulations,interactivity, and games with a foundation in the latest pedagogical research.

The current offerings through WhartonInteractive are called Alternate Reality Courses (ARCs). ARCs combine aspectsof simulations and games with class-based instruction, and create engaginglearning experiences based on interactive stories while providing personalizedguidance as learners progress. In an ARC, learners make decisions just as theywould in real life, through simulated emails, Zoom calls, data analysis,presentations, and more. The ARC reacts to their choices, allowing learners topractice and build skills in a place where failure isn’t critical — so thatthey can transfer successes from the course to the real world.

For the purpose of this discussion, you anda few of your classmates have been invited by Wharton Interactive to be part ofa team tasked with creating the next ARC course to be introduced into the MBAcurriculum. As a team, decide on the following:

The name of your course and the Whartondepartment in which it belongs

An overview of the business problem and/orscenario of the ARC game

Two learning objectives (knowledge you willgain in the ARC)

Two practice objectives (specificexperiences you will encounter in the ARC, so that when you see them in thereal world, you will know what to do)

会议期间不允许使用平板电脑、手机和互联网浏览器。

Zoom的白板功能也将无法使用。

TBD过程中，Zoom的聊天功能将被禁用。

在你准备TBD时，请牢记以下提示：

- 注意展示你的个人技能和优势。想想你过去为帮助你的团队前进而使用的各种方法，它们很可能有助于你的小组达到最好的结果。

- 注意有适应性。回想一下你过去成功适应各种动态的团体的经历。是什么方法使你成功？

- 做自己。对你来说，没有什么特定的角色是可以期待的。忠于自己和自己的长处。

- 放松心态。被邀请参加面试意味着我们认为你有可能适合我们的项目，相信自己，享受这个过程。
