Hey there,
Your academic qualifications are very attractive to AdComs, but important questions that they'll want to hear your answer to include what you plan to do during the deferral period if you're accepted to an MBA program (what kind of employment will you seek, and why? What type of role, and with what kind of companies?) and what your short- and long-term goals post-MBA are. Business schools care deeply about what your professional ambitions are and how likely you are to achieve them, so make sure you give those questions careful thought. If your stated goals make sense with your engineering background and your desire to do an MBA, then you will likely be a very competitive candidate at any of the M7 schools, especially those like Stanford and MIT Sloan that are recruiting grounds for tech companies.
