can the score be used for application?

I took GRE in May,2001.  Would you tell me if it is still can be used for applying for univ. for fall, 2006.  It will be expired in next may, but it is within its valid time now, when I am preparing for application now.

Just a question, of coz I will use the old mark finally.

我觉得可以~虽说规定是过期日要在入学日之后，成绩才有效，但过去的经验好像说过和学校商量一下，学校还是同意接受这样的成绩的~因为毕竟录取是在5月前会基本结束的，而不是到9月开学~
