I thing I got this offer mainly because I have a very clear interest of research based on my 10 years of work experience in patent.

I was rather panic during the interview when a professor challenged my research interest and asked whether there're some other areas I'm also interested. I finally remembered to talk about knowedge management, sharing economic etc.
I confirmed acceptance of the offer on Monday.

We are offering our congratulations, too! The Iowa State University program seems to have a history of less than ten years, but its Information Systems concentration is already spectacularly successful, considering that Iowa State is not yet a top research university at the level of CMU or even Georgia Tech.

You're right.
I applied for the strategy program there.
Two Chinese professors there are doing patent strategy which is my interest as I have been a patent agent in China for 10 years
