International backgound is always a plus. And graduate GPA weighs much less than undergraduate GPA in your application. So if you manage to write a good story about your career and give appropriate explaination about your graduate GPA,providing you have a decent GMAT score, you should have a fairly good chance to get into top 10.

your college gpa is so high, .......don't worry, the adcom said they look more closely at undergraduate school gpa. just make sure you have some grounds to justify your low graduate school gpa, as what you said, new language hurdles, new environment, etc.

Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas.

Anyway, I feel better now. After reading the CD's interviews of the successful applicants, I find out that all respects including your academic background, your G/T scores and your working experiences are very important in the applying process, any one of them can be the key factor.

But personally, the self-confidence should be the first thing in your heart, if you can conquer yourself, how can you convince others?

So, I won't have any fears about this kind of stuff.

The French like to say 'C'est la vie'. It means ‘that's life’. Somebody thinks of if as the symbol of helplessness when facing to the difficult situation. In my opinion, this phrase shows human being's open-minded. Life is going on. Pre-MBA or post-MBA, it's only one period in your life. The point is that we have chosen this way, so just go through it with your brave heart.

I appreciate this phrase and like to share it with you - Life is tough, but I am tougher.

So good luck to everybody, and enjoy your reborn process.

ok, if someone like to learn french, no problem, just i can try my best to tell funny things.

Let's go,lesson one : BONJOUR whose similar chinese prononciation is 笨猪. It means hello or good morning, a little official or polite to show respect.

Lesson tw Salut whose chinese prononciation is 傻驴, means hi, often used between friends.

Enjoy your life.
