You don't need a finance degree exactly for a finance role.
Indeed quite many role in the industry is fit the best with major other than finance.
(and that's why most top universities doesn't offer a business only bachelor, and most top US universities don't border to offer a MSF for fresh graduate.)
It is time for you to tell a story why do you think that economics, management background and skills are helpful in the role you are going to apply for.(that is quite easy for things like accounting, economics, statistics, finmath, business/maangement, risk, BA and etc for quite some roles, but it will be quite a task for things like ERM.)

You may choose to concentrate your electives in a certain topic area, which would be recognised in the degree title you are awarded with.
