大龄青年 欧洲or亚太MBA求定位

29岁大龄申请人，本科外交部直属小众院校英语专业，研究生人大会计专业。G720，T尚未有时间考试。
之前在Big 4 税务咨询部门有2年工作经验，后跳槽到某央企任财务主管，现在就职于某金融央企集团总部任税务经理超过2年。
一直想通过读TOP MBA换到咨询业或公司general management，倾向于Insead，LBS或Ceibs等非美国MBA强校。求各位大佬指点。

你读完你所说的那几个学校，出路未必比你现在的工作好。当然，你如果不喜欢税务经理这个工作，自当别论。另外，中欧在国际层面还称不上Top MBA

感谢您的回复。如您所言，我对现在的工作由于太熟，工作本身又没什么挑战，加之国企上升通道受限，就有了通过MBA进行职业转换的念头。考虑到年龄不小了，美国MBA成本较高且时间长，机会成本太大，之前一直考虑欧洲的短平快项目

无论是四大的tax还是公司的tax是个很niche的工作，你哪怕申请到了top MBA其实对未来雇主来说transferable skill也是有限的，顶尖咨询的工作竞争是很激烈的，好的corporate leadership program也不一定喜欢tax的背景，如果要转行，不如的确考虑那种2年的，至少有个实习可以缓冲一下

Thanks! In terms of general advice, given your profile, I would try to improve your GMAT to at least 730 if you are applying to the top schools globally. The key to remember is you are coming from a super competitive demographic, where many peers will have your same or similar profile. I would apply to a mix of top-ranked and less highly ranked schools so that you aren't taking major risk. You want to think of ways to differentiate yourself when you apply, or you will be another accomplished applicant from a tough demographic with good scores - this isn't unique, so focus on you and your unique stories.
