Dont know about Europe, but you might want to double check how hard it will be to get a work visa in Europe for professionals in Finance/Real Estate/Investment.

As for Columbia MSRED. NYC and LA are the cities for REPE in the US. However, I dont recommend the program if you want to work in the US for the short term, because you will find it difficult to get a work visa. I hate to say this, but a green card is actually a game changer for internationals who recruit for the real estate industry.

That been said, sounds like you lean towards attending ESSEC. Best of luck and PM me if you have any question about the industry in the US.

FYI, unless you are interested in doing portfolio mgmt, CFA will barely give you any edge in the US.
