Both tracks are designed to get your career started on the best foot possible, with specializations in a particular area of business. The Quantitative Business track, in which you can choose either the Business Analytics or Finance & Investments specialization is for quantitative decision analysts with significant expertise in analytical methods. Ideally, one who chooses this track is not afraid of working with numbers, in the program and throughout their career. The other track of Innovative Business is considered one for creative and strategic thinkers looking for a career in entrepreneurship or digital business.
For those looking to stay in Germany to work, it’s not as easy as choosing one track or the other. Plenty of opportunities can be found in both general fields. It comes down to taking advantage to ALL that ESMT Berlin has to offer, including recruitment fairs, company visits throughout Germany, soft skills workshops, opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, and professional development and guidance from our well-connected Career Services team. Many students also, after graduating, work full-time with their internship company, and so targeting your internship to the country or field you want to be in can be very successful. The city of Berlin, aside from being a great place for young people to study, has endless chances to get involved in the startup scene, or get connected to multinationals and more established companies.
