USC&Cornell Mba 如何选择…

Well, it’s hard to say which one is better, because it’s a choice you need to make. Cornell is  Ivy League and also in general considered a better business school. But the money difference is fundamental. I would say that it should depend a bit on your goals and industry. So for example, if you were in Finance Cornell would be the only choice, and for Tech, Marshall might make more sense.

My suggestion: Look into the recruitment at the schools you are targeting and choose based on that. It’s best to be practical.

Cornell好处是藤校，商学院排名也要高些。纽约的话以金融出名，加州tech比较好，看你未来想往哪方面发展了。如果是做金融行业建议cornell，其他的考虑的话可以去usc

Thank for the advice. I’d probably go with Cornell, cuz I do want to work in New York and it’d be much easier if I go to Cornell, even though the location of USC, the whole ambiance of LA, and the scholarship are still extreamly tempting... I’ve talked to a few students from Cornell and all of them mention, directly or hinted, that Cornell is a small town with not much going on, and they have no choice but to stick together and work on case studying ? but yeah, the sunshine and beaches are just bonuses, but Cornell is probably the better choice for me in a longer term.

嗯嗯我也是这么考虑的…我对Tech没有兴趣也没有经验，应该还是会选Cornell

Consulting如果是回国的话，Cornell。想留美或者去Corp的话，USC。Cornell在西海岸还是不如USC好用。建议看看最近两年毕业生/在校生（尤其是拿中国护照的）intern/full-time就业情况。

无论是回国还是留美，都选Cornell，明显是更多企业的core school，在IB、咨询和corp LDP三个层面的on campus招聘两所学校都不是一个级别的。地理位置更多时候在你需要off campus的时候才更有帮助。

西海岸的tech和美东的finance都会是好选择！如果想做consulting我感觉纽约机会会更多，cornell在大农村方便安心学习准备面试~
