Need advice for MBA application--aiming for m7 31 years old

Hey Jon, thank you so much for your advice.
My career goal is to develop further in operations or switch to operations consulting.
Will schools concern that I'm too old (31) to switch to consulting? You know consulting industry is pretty time-intense.
I'm not sure if my past working experience and career path will mitigate this concern.

我今年29岁，计划在楼主的年纪回到学校，也是operation, supply chain, merchandising, retail experience in omni-channels, 也计划通过MBA转行做consulting， 因为现在越发觉得我有很多hands-on的经验，但一直想知道这么多经验哪些是好的，哪些还可以改善...会持续关注楼主的动态！加油！

空闲时间做点感兴趣的volunteer，中国同学普遍这点不够。
还有就是尽量赶第一轮申请，这样第二轮还有更多选择。

比你小三岁，gmat 一样分，托福比你少3分，本科差不多，也是英语专业。
也在申请北美mba，有空可以交流。

Good question!
I think you will be fine. First of all going into consulting is pretty “normal” for a post-MBA goal, even if it is true that you are a biiiit on the old side as a first-time hire. I think you can also mitigate this a bit by playing up your “Specialization” in your industry. and with that, I think you should  be totally fine…

就是任何你想做的对社区有意义的事情。
举个例子：
大型会议或者活动的志愿者，不仅能锻炼自己的交流能力，还为活动添了一份力。
