I hear you. 8 times i a lot. and if 680 is your best score, then let’s go with that. “ECs” = Extra curriculars by the way…
Anyhow since you work for MS and seem to have a good basis, I think that you could apply in the 10-30 range in the USA as long as the rest of your profile is solid and so is your story.
