The PhD Program at Rice University has recently posted the graduate placements starting from its inception approximtaley seven or eight years ago. Based on these, we have now moved the program upward to Tier One. All its graduates (around ten) are now at excellent research universities, the "lowest" ranked being the University of Cincinnati.

Based on further research, Syracuse University has now been degraded to Tier 4 status in the placement rankings.

你好Tripleg，申请学校之前就看过你的排名贴，受益良多！我刚刚看到你在Accounting Ph.D. - U. of North Texas和Florida Atlantic U.之间选择了North Texas，可以问一下原因吗？因为两个学校的accounting placement实在差不多，我现在特别纠结。非常感谢！

谢谢你的信任！对，这两家非常接近，找教职的话也差不多，但如果回国的话，University of North Texas 认可度可能更高一些。University of North Texas 属于 R1，在ARWU 有排名，而 Florida Atlantic University 属于 R2，在ARWU 根本排不上号，研究实力比前者差很多。

我不是这专业的，MIS 的话，UTD 应当很不错，但这三家都是好学校，难分上下，毕业生大部分应当都去了很好的学校了。所以我觉得可以从其他方面衡量，如研究兴趣，课程设置，地理位置等等。
