Question 1:
Question about reapplication:
Hi! Dear Wharton MBAs:
I applied in 2004-2005 but failed. I reapply this year, but found that my account and password do not work. Meanwhile, I can not re-send my account and password to me throught my E-mail account registered with Wharton. Seems like I have to use a new account. But if I use a new account, how do they match my application with last year's materials.
Any one has experience?
Thanks!
Answer:
The MBA Admission Office keeps the record of past application for a few years, so they can match your file if you are going to apply this year. You’d better send a email to the admission office and tell them about this, they will arrange for a new account for you. Don’t worry about that, they are pretty helpful in such logistics issues.
Question 2:
很多学校都不很在意AWA,wahrton怎么认为呢
Answer:
Although we, as students, are not in an official position to tell you whether AWA is important or not, AWA, (as part of GMAT test) should reflect your English writing skills. So we recommend that you at least get an above-average score to avoid bad impression of your writing skills.
Question 3:
hi, Wharton mentors,
我的背景很特殊,因为我是中专毕业后来,读了一个成人的专科学校,而后通过自学考试取得本科学位.
我不是很确认专科学校的毕业是用associate吗,另外专升本应该怎么翻译.
Thanks
Answer:
We suggest that you clarify this translation issue with admission office. They are pretty experienced in the education candidacy of applicants, so you can try to get answers from them,
Question 4:
您好,有个问题:签证时的财务证明是否是必须的?如果需要办理贷款手续,是到了学校再办么?
Answer:
The visa issue is pretty subjective and it is hard to generalize. Although some students can get visa with only the loan certificate from school, it is better for you to get enough financial certificates to prove that you have sufficient financial integrity to support your stay in the US. And sometimes, it depends on whether the US embassy trusts your evidence. But we want to say that financial certificate is not the most important thing in visa application, you should get prepared for other questions such as your career plan. It is much more important than your financial certificate.
Wharton provides non-consigner loan to international students and the up limit of the loan is 90% of the tuition + living expenses. And you can apply for it after you arrive at Wharton. So you don’t need to worry about the financing or loan issue. The process is very straightforward and MBA Office will provide great help during the process. |
