There are many career changers in MBA program(from engineering to finance, marketing to investment banking, etc..), so it is quite common to write some stories that influence your career decisions. Make sure that your stories make SENSE. It does not matter which career you want - the contents matter!
Also, when structure your essays, you should spend 2-3 scentences to summerize what you learned from the experiences, why they have impacts on you..
2. Does Wharton provide any special course that helps somebody who aims to develop his career on real estate aspects?
I know at least one Chinese student is from real estate development. There are many more from american students. Wharton has Real Estate major and you can find all courses online. I dont recall all the details but I can assure that you will have tons of opportunities to learn real estate in Wharton.
3. What is the percentage of Chinese MBA students of Wharton joined the consulting firms in the US after they finished their MBA program?
There is no official data but I can tell you my observation. Many are interested in finance, consulting is second. But a lot of students do not like consulting due to its life style. The estimation is about 20-30% will pursue consulting jobs. Having said that, I do think there are many consulting opportunities since a lot of firms recruiting on campus...
