以下是我的想法：题干中说作者认为可使用加速器的减少是去年有关文章减少的原因，B中说这几年科学家使用加速器前的等待时间越来越短，我认为这提供了证据说明虽然加速器减少，但是没有影响科学家对它的使用，所以undermine the argument.
