为什么D项不可以补成

equally。。。as。。。是错误的语法结构哦！

而且Manhattan SC也没有提到过这个结构。

as...as是与than相似的比较结构，
step 1 找第二个as右边的被比较元素，D是the current speed limit本身，E是they are the current speed limit，由于选项E补出了be动词，可以认为比较的是第二个as前的整句话
step 2 第二个as左边是否能找到与右边对应的被比较元素，D中被比较的核心词是likely，即某种可能性与speed limit作比较，显然是不合逻辑的；而E中的核心词是exceed speed limit这个行为，与另一种与current limit相关的行为作对比

谢谢！我还有一点不懂...as..as...的比较中，如果分成三块，第一个as前面是partA，两个as中间partB，第二个as后面partC，那么C应该跟A比还是跟B比还是AB？麻烦你指点一下~

比较结构就是一种特殊的平行结构。


借用你这个说法，part A和part B应能结合成一个整句。而part C则在和part A + part B平行的基础上，省略一些相同的词语。

例：Traffic safety officials predict that drivers will be as likely to exceed the proposed speed limit （蓝色是完整的句子）as they are the current one.
红色部分可以拓展成与蓝色部分平行的句子：They are (as likely to exceed) the current speed limit.
