这句话好像是说，早期的教育也可能涉及到vocational,而问题是说LEAST likely have been the subject of an early American textbook?

那么D就不应该是答案了，我就是不明白为什么不选A？

literacy意思就是学科基础知识，illiteracy指的文盲，那么literacy就是非文盲，不知道对不对哈，反正只找到这一个地方对应

我只能意思说说：他们的那些rosy(发光点,玫瑰色）hue（有价值，色彩）了，如果说有什么变得很好的话。

NOW ADDED意思就是在原有value的基础上又新加了一些

in the textbooks of the day应该理解为现在吧，请牛牛指点
