Postdoctoral Fellowship

Dr. Krishna Savani at the Cultural Science Institute in Nanyang Business School, Singapore, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow for a project funded by the Nanyang Assistant Professor Fellowship. This project extends Dr. Savani’s existing program of research, which investigates how a choice mindset, universal vs. nonuniversal beliefs about human abilities, and implicit social learning can address problems of social inequality, diversity, intercultural interactions, and choice architecture.

The postdoctoral fellow’s responsibilities will include closely collaborating with the research team to help conduct the research proposed in the grant, along with developing new research ideas on related topics. Researchers with an interest in topics related to agency, choice, control, power, scarcity, inequality, and diversity, broadly defined, would be well-suited for this project.

This fellowship will be a two-year position beginning July 1, 2016, with the option to extend for an additional year. Applicants must have completed a PhD in a social science discipline prior to beginning the fellowship. Candidates with a PhD in psychology (particularly those with a specialization in social psychology or judgment and decision making), organizational behavior, or marketing, would be suitable.
