It really depends on your career goal. I think the Cambridge Mphil in Finance and Economics is academically-oriented, while LSE MSc Finance and Economics is more industry-focused. But I have heard that LSE MSc Finance and Economics has a concentration named MSc Finance and Economics (Research), so I guess this program is also more academic compared with the MSc Finance program. Since you want to work in China's industry, why did you apply for Finance and Economics? Such programs are usually more academic... Maybe MSc Finance is more suitable for your career path.
But since you have already applied, in my opinion, LSE and Cambridge are both well-known to domestic finance-related firms. I don't think reputation will make a big difference. However, since LSE is located in London, which makes it convenient for you to find an internship and to build your network, I'll vote for LSE. Hope my opinion helps . |
